Queen Elizabeth II died today, aged 96. She leaves behind a legacy of perpetuating and benefitting from Britain’s long, miserable history of colonial brutality, the sort of humanitarian crimes that shape the world and infiltrate our nightmares, even if only in the fact that “British” is an acceptable villainous archetype in various forms of narrative fiction, in literally every country that found itself one of the many jewels of the United Kingdom. She was also known for being very old, loving Corgis, and keeping a collection of hats that would seem garish in a Wes Anderson film.
She will unfortunately never know the truth of the events of September 4, 2022, when a fight broke out following Phil “CM Punk” Brooks’ outburst at the press conference which followed All Out 2022.
